About the 531X300CCHAEM2
The 531X300CCHAEM2 is a printed circuit board made and marketed by General Electric as a replacement board for their various general-purpose drive systems. This includes the DC-300 drive as well as other similar drives. Because there are multiple versions of the CCHA card available, you should always check your system’s manual for compatibility before ordering.
The 531X300CCHAEM2 functions as a control card. It is a large, rectangular-shaped board that sports factory-made drill holes in each corner. These allow for various mounting options. The board also has eight standoffs located near its surface. The standoffs are used to connect auxiliary boards and/or components as needed. Auxiliary boards screw-mount to the standoffs in order to lock into place. The boards typically communicate through cables plugged into one of the vertical pin connectors on the surface of the 531X300CCHAEM2.
Other components that are mounted to the 531X300CCHAEM2 include multiple jumper switches, six LED indicators, and eleven transistors. The LED indicators are all red and are located in a single line near the board’s upper left corner. The board also has over thirty integrated circuits on its surface as well as eight potentiometers (variable resistors) and twenty resistor network arrays. The board also uses resistors, capacitors, an inductor, and diodes. Multiple cable connectors and header connectors are also available, as is a single push-button reset switch.
