About the 531X300CCHAWM3
The 531X300CCHAWM3 is a circuit board produced by General Electric as a component used within several of their industrial general-purpose drive systems, including the DC-300 drive.
The 531X300CCHAWM3 is a system Control Card. It is factory-drilled in each corner and once along each edge to allow for mounting. The board carries codes like VA-4, 003/0, 004/0, 002/0 and FR00/0. It also carries the above board number and an alternate number (F31X300CCHAFG1.) Most components are marked with manufacturer id numbers and with a board reference designator.
The 531X300CCHAWM3 has eight potentiometers and over two dozen resistor network arrays. It is built using resistors made of metal film material and capacitors typically made from ceramic material. However, some capacitors on the board are made from electrolytic material, and some are polyester vinyl.
Connectors on the surface of the 531X300CCHAWM3 include six vertical pin cable connectors and two header connectors. The board has several terminal pin connectors as well. There are eight stand-offs on the surface of the board; these are designed to allow the attachment of two auxiliary (daughter) boards to the 531X300CCHAWM3 board.
Other components on the 531X300CCHAWM3 include integrated circuits, jumper switches, LEDs, transistors, and surface wiring. The board also has one push button switch. This is a reset switch. It is located near the bottom left corner of the board. Please refer to publications from the original equipment manager for information on installation and handling procedures. GE provided the original technical support for this board and all board components in the 531x series.
