About the 531X302DCIBBG4
531X302DCIBBG4--DC Instrumentation Board
The 531X302DCIBBG4 is a PCB component fabricated by GE to fit into some of its general purpose drive systems. General purpose drive systems include the DC-300 system. While often now considered obsolete, these drives were originally designed to be solid and dynamic drives with the flexibility to complete a variety of tasks, usually in industrial settings.
The 531X302DCIBBG4 is a DC Instrumentation Board. Mounting holes are located in each corner. The board has six male vertical pin header connectors varying from two pins to nine pins. It also has stab on connectors and vertical pin male cable connectors. It has three fuses in fuse holders in the upper right corner of the board. There are additional fuses located elsewhere on the board.
The 531X302DCIBBG4 is built with high-capacity electrolytic capacitors. It has capacitors made of ceramic and polyester vinyl. The board uses both carbon composite and metal film resistors. It has one potentiometer and multiple resistor network arrays.
The 531X302DCIBBG4 has integrated circuits including oscillating chips. There are over twenty ICs. ICs are marked with manufacturer codes for easy and quick identification. The board has transistors, jumper switches, a switch component with four toggles, and multiple heat sinks. The board also has one red LED indicator along with several clear light components. There are two transformers and a relay used on this board. Surface wiring is also used.
Technical support for the 531X302DCIBBG4 DC Instrumentation Board was provided originally by GE. For more information, refer to GE publications like drive manuals or series user guides. Please follow all recommending handling and safety procedures as printed in these publications.
