About the 531X306LCCBEM2
The 531X306LCCBEM2 is a circuit board component created by GE to fit into several of their general purpose drive systems. While many of these systems are now considered obsolete, they were originally designed to be flexible and powerful systems able to perform a number of industrial operations. This includes the DC-300 drive and other similar drives.
The 531X306LCCBEM2 functions as a LAN Communication card. This is a rectangular-shaped board that has been drilled multiple times in the corners and along the edges. It is marked (lettered and numbered) along the edges to allow for proper alignment during insertion into a frame.
The 531X306LCCBEM2 is populated with an alphanumeric display. This is placed on the left side of the board parallel to the short edge of the board. There are two male vertical pin cable connectors on the board surface, one on either short edge, as well as a single female vertical pin connector that is placed near the board’s center. The board also has two right-angled header connectors; these are placed side-by-side on the right board edge.
Other components on the board surface include six jumper switches, seventeen resistor network arrays, ceramic capacitors, metal film resistors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits that include field programmable gate arrays and oscillating chips. More information about these components and how the board functions within drive systems, as well as installation procedures and handling procedures, can be found through GE publications like manuals, data sheets, and series user guides that reference this board number.
