The GE Power Connection Board 531X308PCSAAG1 is a renewal part for multiple original equipment power connection boards. The 531X308PCSAAG1 board is configured to be a replacement power connection board through the JP1 and JP2 jumpers because they configure the armature voltage range. You insert the jumpers over a specific combination of jumpers to achieve the voltage the drive requires. For example, if the drive specifications require a G1 and G3 voltage of 580 and G2 and G4 of 595, insert the JP1 jumper over pins P3 and P7 and insert the JP2 jumper over pins P5 and P9.
When you configure the drive or perform any other maintenance on the board, there general guidelines you can use to maintain a safe working environment. Injury can occur to anyone or the board might be damaged by improper handling or improper configuration procedures. Make sure the floor around the device is dry and free of moisture or puddles of water. Inspect the area for ungrounded outlets and switch all power cords to use only grounded outlets. The site must have an emergency power off switch and you should locate it in case an accident occurs. Use only hand tools that have been approved for use on electrical devices.
