About the F31X111PSHATG1
F31X111PSHATG1--Motor Field Control and Power Supply Board
GE developed the F31X111PSHATG1 as an MFC/power supply board. This board has an alternate number of 531X111PSHATG3 and is part of GE’s 531x series of replacement boards. This series of boards are designed for use within a number of GE’s older general purpose drive systems, including the DC-300 drive. The F31X111PSHATG1 provides the power needed for drive operation and is a key component of drive systems. It can produce powers of 5 VDC, 15 VDC and 24 VDC.
The F31X111PSHATG1 is populated by three inductor coils (two small and one large,) three transformers, including two in frames, as well as three relays. The board has a single metal oxide varistor (MOV.) There are eight fuses located on the surface of the board.
Other components located on the F31X111PSHATG1 include three potentiometers, capacitors made of polyester vinyl and capacitors made of ceramic material. The board also has several large Sprague capacitors and multiple large electrolytic capacitors; the Sprague capacitors are located in one corner of the board. The board also has resistors of various materials, including metal film and carbon composite material. The board uses heat sinks, header connectors, and vertical pin cable connectors. It has several integrated circuits.
If more information is desired, especially regarding the operation of the board, or information regarding installation or maintenance procedures, these may be found through publications from General Electric that reference this board number, such as manuals, data sheets, and user guides. Technical support for this series of boards was provided by General Electric.
