About the F31X175SSBABG1
F31X175SSBABG1--Dual Channel BIU Series Six Interface
The F31X175SSBABG1 is a PCB component manufactured by General Electric as part of their general purpose drive systems. This includes the DC-300. It has a secondary board number of 531X175SSBABM1. Not all 531x boards are compatible with every GE general purpose drive system; please consult your manual.
The F31X175SSBABG1 functions as a Dual Channel BIU Series Six Interface. It is marked with codes like FR00/0, VA-4, 1996, 002/1, 005/0 and 004/0.
The F31X175SSBABG1 has a multi-pin connector located along its bottom edge. This is a right-angled male connector. Both the top and the bottom edge of the board is shaped with tabular cutouts. The top edge has thirty-six conductive pins lined up side-by-side along one of the remaining tabs. Each corner of the board is drilled for mounting.
There are three switch components on the surface of the F31X175SSBABG1. This includes two vertically mounted toggles within the body of the board, and one right-angled toggle mounted to the edge of the board. This last component is a reset switch. There are two red LED indicators located next to this switch.
Other components located on the surface of the board include jumper switches, resistor network arrays, transistors, and over thirty-five integrated circuits. ICs usually carry the manufacturer’s part number to allow for chip identification. The board also has a number of diodes, metal film resistors, and capacitors made from either ceramic or electrolytic material. Please refer to series user guides, data sheets or manuals for more information, including installation procedures.
