About the F31X191RTBAEG2
The F31X191RTBAEG2 is a Relay Terminal Board Card designed by GE for systems like the DC-300. This is one of several Relay Terminal printed circuit boards designed for use with GE DC drive systems. The board may be marked with an alternate 531X identification number along with its primary F31X number.
The F31X191RTBAEG2 uses multiple relays on the board’s surface to control external circuitry and to provide coils and contacts with access to the terminal board. The board has several LED indicators available on its surface that help notate when and which of the relays are energized. These are interspersed with resistors and jumpers.
When installing this board, an insulation barrier is typically used behind the PCB in order to ensure electrical isolation. This board uses both N.O (normally open) and N.C (normally closed) contacts as well as common.
The rear edge of the board has a 50 point conductive line that functions as a backplane connector. This allows the board to communicate with other components when it has been installed within the drive. Additional information regarding this board can be accessed through GE data sheets, user guides, and manuals that were originally provided by General Electric.
