About the DS2020DACAG1
The prime function of the DS2020DACAG1 is to convert the alternating current (AC) power source to the direct current (DC) power source on the Excitation Controller DACA power supply module. As you are using the DACA module the AC power supply of 115 volts of alternating current (VAC) will be converted to a DC power supply of 125 volts of directing current (VDC).
Two DACA modules can be connected to an exciter power distribution model if a greater power supply is needed to reliably operate the controller. A battery source and the DACA model will provide a redundant current of 125 VDC for the EPDM.
The manual commonly used to help install this model is the GEH-6632 EX2100 User’s Guide, this guide gives a general overview of the way that the equipment such as the DS2020DACAG1 model will operate. When powering your controller the power will have a nominal 120 VAC and a maximum A RMS supply of ten this will be the correct controller power as long as there is one DACA module attached to the controller of your choice.
Regardless if you are using a simplex control and cabling option or a redundant control system cabling option to your terminal board the DACA will always direct the rectified AC power will be directed to the EPDM which will then direct to a coil or GPA power option.
