About the IS200EPBPG1A
The prime function of the IS200EPBPG1A module is to be a power supply board. The acronym EPBP stands for exciter power backplane. When the board is connected it holds three EPSM (electrically isolated power supplies module), along with three EGDM (exciter ground detector). The power supply that will go to the EPBP board from the EPDM will be 125 VDC. The board will send logic-level power through the attached EPSM boards.
The IS200EPBPG1A model holds ground detection modules, connectors for power distribution, as well as other power supply boards. There are thirty-three plug connectors on the top half of the board in the M1, M2, and C sections. In each section, there are five four-plug connectors, one two-plug connector, four three-plug connectors, and one twelve-plug connector.
There are two manuals that can be used with the IS200EPBPG1A board, one is the overall GEH-6632 EX2100 Excitation Control User’s Guide Series manual, and the other is the part-specific GEI-100463 IS200EPBPG1A Exciter Power Backplane Manual. Information on the EPBP board can be found on page fifty-three of the GEH-6632 manual.
