About the IS200ERIOH1A
Produced by General Electric for the EX2100 Excitation Regulator and the Mark VI series as a whole, the IS200ERIOH1A board offers the I/O interface for customer and system I/O. It provides these functions for Regulator Control systems both simplex and redundant. For simplex applications, the I/O is mounted in the ERBP (Exciter Regulator Backplane) and interfaces customer I/O signals for the ECTBG2 terminal board and the EPCT terminal board. The IS200ERIOH1A is also capable of interfacing system I/O signals for the EROC (Exciter Regulator Options Card) and ERDD (Exciter Regulator Interface and Dynamic Discharge). For redudant applications, it also interfaces system I/O signals for the ERRR (Exciter Regulator Redundant Relay).
The Exciter Regulator I/O is connected to the EROC and ERDD boards by means of the ERBP or ERRB backplanes, the former of which is for simplex applications and the latter of which is for redundant applications. Additionally, the ERIO is connected to the EPCT and ECTB through two twenty-five pin connectors to the ERBP and the ERRB. The FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) controls storage and data acquisition into DPM (Dual Port Memory). This particular unit is a revision of the original part, indicated by the "A" at the end of the model number.
