About the IS200ESYSH2A
The IS200ESYSH2A model was produced by General Electric as part of their EX2100e series. The ESYS is an EX2100e System Interface module for customer I/Os. This model is used to interface basic I/Os externally and then to the exciter with the control system. The interfaces are sent through pluggable screw terminal boards and will interface to the EX2100e control system through an HSLA high-speed serial link daughterboard. Please note that this model can be used in both regulator and static systems.
There are several groups for the ESYS board, groups H1, H2, and H3. The IS200ESYSH2A board operates on a dual control redundancy and has two control sections which are the M1 and M2 controllers. When being operated the ESYS model will support a number of different excitation contact inputs and outputs. The board can accommodate two trip relay outputs that are used for driving a customer lockout device, these outputs are based on two of three hardware voting outputs.
The IS200ESYSH2A model handles most if not all of the system I/O interfaces, which includes but is not limited to, customer analog I/O, trip relay outputs, PT and CT inputs, and general-purpose relays. The ESYS board has terminal strips that can be removed without requiring the wires to be de-terminated.
The ESYS modules do have a part-specific manual, the GEI-100772 manual, but due to being difficult to find AX Control highly recommends using the GEH-6781L EX2100e Excitation Control manual. For any questions regarding this model please refer to page sixty-three of the GEH-6781L manual.
