About the IS200HSLAH4A
General Electric’s IS200HSLAH4A model is part of the EX2100e series. The EX2100e series was designed with enhanced technology in mind. This board is a High-Speed Serial Link Interface for Host Applications (HSLA). The unit is part of the circuit boards and control modules of the EX2100e series. The HSLA board is used in High Voltage Interface (HVI) applications and takes interfaces from the EAUX board. When the HSLA module has been mounted it will mount to the ERAX and ESYS boards.
The physical makeup of the IS200HSLAH4A model is a single or dual-port HSSL interface. The HSSL model is a daughterboard that will provide interfaces to the UCSX controller. A key feature of the HSLA board is the ability to provide digital control logic functions for the HSSL through the Field Programmable Gate Array (FGPA) board.
The IS200HSLAH4A model does have a part-specific manual but due to no longer being produced the GEI-100782 HSLA manual is difficult to find. The best manual to use other than the part-specific manual is the GEH-6781L EX2100e Excitation Control, this manual is basically the series manual and provides quite a bit of information on not only the HSLA board but the rest of the EX2100e series as well.
