About the DS200NATOG2A
The DS200NATOG2A NATO board is a Voltage Feedback Scaling Board produced by General Electric. This model is part of the second group variation. The purpose of this model is to attenuate AC and DC voltages on an SCR bridge. When the DS200NATOG2A model has performed these functions, it will ensure that the bridge voltage feedbacks are accurately derived. As mentioned above, the DS200NATOG2A model is a G2 unit that will substitute two wire jumpers for two bottom resistors giving the model four resistors per string.
The outputs of the board are taken through the five strings that are connected to the twenty-pin ribbon header. There are also several MOVs (metal oxide varistors) that prevent the output voltages from getting too high if the ribbon circuit gets interrupted while the input voltage is present. The burden resistors needed for operation are on the attached gate distribution status board rather than the NATO board.
Voltage Feedback Sensing Board Model DS200NATOG2A has attenuator voltages that are set by stab connectors and wire jumpers for the G2 variation of the NATO; there are multiple VLG and VLL inputs, one of the VLL inputs is 2200 with a VLG input of 1270.17, with these inputs there is a VLG output of 1.905. With these specific inputs, there are a few wire jumpers, two resistors, and an input stab connector JxA.
There are multiple agency approvals used with the DS200NATOG2A model; these approvals are CSA, EC, and UL standards used with transients controlled and known.
