About the DS215UCVAG3A
The DS215UCVAG3A model has a few more features than the DS215UCVAG1A model. For example, the primary components of this model are two Genius LAN ports, 16 M of DRAM, the occupation of four VME slots, two 10base2 Ethernet ports, and two DLAN+ ports; all of these features are improvements on the DS215UCVAG1A model. There are two similarities between the DS215UCVAG3A and DS215UCVAG1A models, which are 4M of flash memory and a 486DX4-100 processor.
Pertaining to the hardware on the DS215UCVAG3A model, there are two MicroGeni boards, one IV-486 board, and two DS215UCVAG1 boards. The power requirements for this model are also negative twelve volts of direct current at approximately 85 mA at its peak, a positive five volts of direct current at approximately 3.74 A when at its peaks, and a positive twelve volts of direct current at approximately 85 mA when at it its peak.
Please note that when operating the DS215UCVAG3A model if auxiliary I/O boards are being used and require bus grant and IACK signals, the empty position must have those signals jumpered on the backplane. Everything needed to operate this model can be found in the GEH-6371 Unit Controller 2000/VME User’s Guide attached to this page.
