About the IC3600ADAF1A
The IC3600ADAF1A is a FANUC PCB from GE for the Mark I/Mark II gas or steam turbine management series. These series were introduced by GE in the late 1960s and early 1970s as the first of their Speedtronic lines. Both systems have a proven record of functioning in temperatures as varied as -50 degrees Celsius to as high as +50 degrees Celsius. The systems can manage turbines from 4000 hp to 400 Mw (combined cycles,) and are designed to control the turbine power, keep output within the unit’s capability, perform sequencing during startup of the turbine and auxiliaries, protect the turbine during emergency shutdown in the event of a non-recoverable system failure, and annunciate and monitor malfunctions within the system, including auxiliaries and the control system.
The IC3600ADAF1A has five potentiometers. All potentiometers on the board are trim potentiometers. The board is built with five lines of resistors and diodes. It must be noted many of these components are mounted to the board in a vertical position. The IC3600ADAF1A is built with aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Several of these are marked 10ppm 24 25K.
The IC3600ADAF1A is marked with its unique board number and with the GE logo. One edge is numbered two, ten, twenty, thirty, forty, and fifty. These numbers are placed under a line of twenty-five metal pins located along this edge.
The IC3600ADAF1A will ship to you protected in a static-reducing sleeve. It is recommended safety data and other instructions are reviewed before installation of your new part begins. This information can be found in your OEM manuals or datasheets.
