Product Description

The IC3600ADNA1 is a GE FANUC Filter Control Board for the Mark I or Mark II Speedtronic systems from General Electric.  The MKI and MKII were the first two series released in the Speedtronic line. They have a decades-long history of successful use on almost every continent in all kinds of environments, in ambient working temperatures from -50C to +50C.  Adaptable and scalable, the MKI and MKII have been used for small units and large, to manage steam and gas turbine systems from one unit 4000 hp systems to 400 Mw combined cycle power plants.

The IC3600ADNA1 is drilled in two corners.  It is marked with its board number, with the codes 006/01 and 002/01, and with the number 68A98490.   The board is numbered on one edge.

The IC3600ADNA1 is a sparsely populated board.  It has two trim potentiometers located on opposite ends of the board.  Between these, there is a terminal strip with six screw connects. Terminal strips are designed with screw-type electrical connectors to clamp down wires to the center metal strip.  This allows more than one circuit to connect to another circuit. The screw connections face away from the center of the board.

The IC3600ADNA1 has two large transformers attached to its surface.  Between these two components is a line of four diodes. It is worth noting the diodes are placed in the order of CR3/CR4/CR1/CR2.  Below the line of diodes is a line of four metal film resistors. The resistors are also in the order of R3/R4/R1/R2.

The IC3600ADNA1 has twenty-five metal pins attached to one edge. These pins together connect to wiring within the Speedtronic system to allow the card to communicate with the system.
