About the IC3600AFGD1
The IC3600AFGD1 is a GE FANUC PCB for either the Mark I or Mark II. Both of these series were developed by GE for the management of gas or steam turbine systems. They have been used in a variety of locations around the world under extreme conditions, in temperatures ranging from -50C to +50C. The Mark I and Mark II can be used for remote, unattended utility peaking gas turbines, base-loaded industrial generator drives, remote pipeline stations, and marine (or offshore) locations. The Mark I and Mark II protect, control, and sequence the turbine system and its auxiliaries.
The IC3600AFGD1 is drilled in two of four corners. One edge is marked by tens, 10, 20,30,40, 50. This edge has twenty-five individual right-angled pins connected to the surface of the board. These pins are used to wire the board into the system framework.
The IC3600AFGD1 has three trim potentiometers in one corner. This type of potentiometer can be used to tune, adjust or calibrate a circuit, or they may be used for variable resistance. The board has five transistors. Transistors are of differing types. One of these transistors is fitted with a heat sink.
The IC3600AFGD1 is built out with carbon composite resistors and one large wire wound resistor. This resistor is marked 2147442 750 Ω 5%10W. Capacitors tend to be made of polyester vinyl. Many of these components have been mounted vertically to save space on the board.
The IC3600AFGD1 has the GE logo. It is marked 002/01. The rear of the board is marked 003/01. All technical support for the IC3600AFGD1 was provided by GE.
