About the IC3600AIAD1
The IC3600AIAD1 is a GE FANUC Translating Isolator Card for the Mark I/Mark II series. These series were created by General Electric to manage gas and steam turbines. The Mark I was released commercially in the late 1960s and the Mark II followed in 1973. These two systems have been used on nearly every continent under a variety of conditions in temperatures ranging from -50 degrees Celsius to +50 degrees Celsius with high performance, accuracy, fast response, and longevity. Some redundancy is employed throughout the system to assure reliable and safe machine operation.
The IC3600AIAD1 is a small but component-dense card. Many components have been mounted in a vertical position. The board is drilled in two corners. It is marked 002/03, marked with its board number, stamped with the GE trademark, marked with the code “68A999577,” and marked “STAR.” It is also numbered from one to fifty-one by fives across one long edge. The back of the board is marked 003/04.
The IC3600AIAD1 has two large relays placed toward the center line of the board. These relays are marked 68A993076G1 1596 and 68A993075G1 0391. The board has three potentiometers, one coil inductor, and sixteen transistors of varying design. One of the transistors has a heat sink fitted to it.
The IC3600AIAD1 is built with over seventy resistors. Many of these are metal film resistors, but other types of resistors are used on the board as well. Ceramic capacitors have been used several times.
The IC3600AIAD1 will be shipped from our warehouse protected by a static-reducing sleeve. We recommend the review of any OEM paperwork (manuals or datasheets) available before installation begins. All technical support for the IC3600AIAD1 was provided by GE.
