About the IC3600AIAD1C1D
The GE IC3600AIAD1C1D is a Translating Isolator Card for the Mark I and Mark II series. The first of the Speedtronic series, these two series for gas and steam turbine management were developed by GE in the late ‘60s and early ‘70s. These two Speedtronic series have been used in temperatures ranging from -50C to +50C on nearly every continent. These systems control the turbine output, limit their output, sequence auxiliaries, protect the turbine in case of system failure, and monitor and annunciate malfunctions within the turbine, its auxiliaries, and the control system.
The IC3600AIAD1C1D is a small card with many components. Many components on this card have been placed vertically. Two of the board’s corners have been drilled out for mounting options. The board is marked with its board number, with the code 68A999577, marked 002/03 and 003/04, marked ‘STAR’ and is stamped with the GE logo. It is also numbered on one edge from one to fifty-one by fives.
The IC3600AIAD1C1D has two relays, one coil inductor, and three potentiometers. The potentiometers are trim potentiometers. The relays are marked 68A993075G1 and 68A993076G1. Sixteen transistors of varying design are placed on the board; one of these is fitted with a heat sink.
The IC3600AIAD1C1D has several types of ceramic capacitors on its surface. It also has capacitors of other materials. Resistors tend to be metal film, but other capacitors are used, too. Technical support for this product, including publications like manuals and data sheets, was supplied by GE.
