About the IC3600ALTC1
The GE FANUC PCB marked IC3600ALTC1 is a Turbine Linear Taper Card for the Mark I or Mark II series. These two series were created by GE to manage gas and steam turbines. They are designed to control, protect and sequence the turbines, automating as many systems as possible, and using redundant backups on some processes to create fail safes and improved functionality.
The IC3600ALTC1 is built with a small front panel assembly. This front panel has three round openings. Each of these openings lines up with one of the three trim potentiometers located on the surface of the IC3600ALTC1. The writing on the front panel, from top to bottom is Gain, R20 (first opening,) R26 (second opening,) AltC1. The front panel is slightly taller than the board components.
The IC3600ALTC1 is built with three trim potentiometers (already mentioned) and seven transistors of varying design. Two of these transistors have been fitted with heat sinks. The board has four large carbon composite resistors and several smaller resistors. Capacitors on this board are mounted in a vertical position. The board has the GE logo. The back of the board is marked 68A993772G1.
The IC3600ALTC1 has a backplane composed of twenty-five individual metal pins. When the board is inserted into the frame of the Mark I or Mark II system, these pins are wrapped with wire.
We will ship the IC3600ALTC1 to you in a protective, static-reducing covering. Please review any OEM manuals or datasheets before beginning the installation of your part. Tech support for the IC3600ALTC1 was provided by GE.
