About the IC3600AMIP
The IC3600AMIP is a GE FANUC printed circuit board manufactured for the first two Speedtronic series, the Mark I and the Mark II. These series were created by GE for gas and steam turbine management, and are designed with some built-in redundancies on protection parameters and critical controls. Both systems were created to automate as much of startup procedures, the sequencing of the turbine, and the protection of the turbine from issues like flame, vibration, and over-speed as possible. These systems have a long record of reliable use under a variety of conditions, from cold to hot (-50C to +50C) from locations in the Mid-East and Australia to offshore marine applications.
The IC3600AMIP is designed to function as a Single End Multiplex Board. It has four ceramic through-hole capacitors, located together at one edge of the board. The board also has sixteen .22µf 30V capacitors. These are located in two groups on either side of the board. The board has several lines of metal film resistors. The board has one trim potentiometer.
The IC3600AMIP is built with four integrated circuits. This includes two amplifiers. The board is marked 006/02 and “ESS STAR.” Is also has the GE mark, its board identification, and is numbered from five to fifty-one by fives on one edge. These numbers correspond to fifty-one individual metal pins which are used to connect the board into the primary Speedtronic system.
Our warehouse team will protect the IC3600AMIP with a static-reducing sleeve before shipment. Technical support for the IC3600AMIP was provided by GE.
