About the IC3600AOA
The IC3600AOA part number refers to a GE FANUC Operator Amplifier Card. This board can be used within the Mark I or the Mark II Speedtronic systems from General Electric, both of which were designed for the control of industrial turbine systems. These early Speedtronic systems offer independent protection, control, and sequential logic to allow for automatic startup and shutdown, along with a self-contained power supply. The self-contained power supply allows the Mark I and Mark II to be independent, if necessary, of an incoming power source.
The IC3600AOA has a backplane located on one long edge made from a series of 25 individual right-angled pins. These pins allow the board to connect and communicate with other Speedtronic components.
Other board components mounted on the IC3600AOA include trim potentiometers, transistors, metal film resistors, and carbon composite resistors. Some of the transistors are fitted within heat sinks. There are also capacitors of several designs on the board. Resistors and capacitors may be mounted horizontally or vertically.
Our warehouse team is careful to handle and ship this board using static reducing methods and coverings. If your original OEM publications are still available to you, such as data sheets, user guides, or manuals, please refer to these for their extensive information regarding handling, maintenance, and proper installation guidelines for this part. These should be reviewed before unboxing your new part. If you no longer have these documents in your possession, AX Control may be able to help you with sourcing replacement copies.
