About the IC3600AOAA1
The IC3600AOAA1 is an Amplifier Control Board for the Mark I and the Mark II series from GE. These two series were the first two Speedtronic series for gas/steam turbine management developed by GE. They are both built with a control system, an independent protection system, a system built on sequential logic for automatic startup and shutdown procedures, and an independent, self-contained power supply. This power supply allows the MKI and MKII to remain independent of external power needs if necessary.
The IC3600AOAA1 is built with twenty-five pins attached to one long edge. This set of pins acts as a backplane that connects the IC3600AOAA1 to the larger Speedtronic framework. With the exception of this line of pins, half of the IC3600AOAA1 is empty of components.
The IC3600AOAA1 has the GE trademark. It is marked with the board number and has the code 002/02 on one edge. One edge is numbered ten to forty by tens. Two corners have been drilled out.
The IC3600AOAA1 has two trim potentiometers located on its surface. It has five transistors of various design. Two of these transistors are fitted with heat sinks. The board is built with carbon composite and metal film resistors. The board uses polyester film capacitors as well as other types of capacitors. Many components have been mounted in a vertical position.
Our warehouse team will ship the IC3600AOAA1 protected by a static-reducing covering. If OEM publications are available (manuals, datasheets) we recommend technicians review safety data before installation begins. All tech support for MKI/MKII components was provided by GE.
