About the IC3600AOAC1
The IC3600AOAC1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I/Mark II series. These first two Speedtronic systems have been used for decades in all types of environments, in temperatures ranging from -50C to +50C. Both have millions of accumulated operating hours in applications such as marine, pipeline, utility, process and combined cycles with great success. These systems were built for longevity and reliability.
The IC3600AOAC1 is an Amplifier card. The GE trademark shows up on its surface. The board has been marked on its edge with the code 006/02 and with its unique board number. It is numbered along one edge. The board is marked “ADS” near one corner. The back of the board is marked 003/02 and 68A989592.
The IC3600AOAC1 has three trim potentiometers. It is built with nine transistors. The first two transistors are broken down into two parts and are labeled as Q1A/Q1B, Q2A/Q2B. There are four different types of transistors used on this board. Two transistors are fitted with heat sinks.
The IC3600AOAC1 uses both aluminum electrolytic capacitors and polyester vinyl capacitors. There are six large carbon composite resistors located in two lines on the board. Other smaller carbon composite resistors appear on the board, along with metal film resistors. Many of these components are mounted vertically.
The IC3600AOAC1 is shipped from the AX Control warehouse protected with a static-reducing sleeve or covering. If OEM paperwork has been retained we recommend reviewing manuals or data sheets for safety protocols before beginning installation of your new part. All technical support for the IC3600AOAC1 was provided by GE.
