About the IC3600AOAF2
GE manufactured the IC3600AOAF2 as a part for their Mark I and their Mark II series. Either of these systems can be used to control, sequence and protect gas or steam turbine systems from 4000 hp to 400 Mw (combined cycles.) They are designed for fast response with accurate performance and long life. The systems are designed with some redundancies built into the system to improve reliability and to ensure safe machine operation.
The IC3600AOAF2 is an Amplifier Card. This PCB has been drilled out in two corners. Opposite these, the board has an edge fitted with twenty-five metal pins. Together, these pins act as a sort of backplane which connects the board into the rest of the Speedtronic system. The IC3600AOAF2 board is marked with the trademark GE logo, with the board id number, and is numbered along one edge. The rear side of the board is marked with the code “68A999176G.”
The IC3600AOAF2 has two trim potentiometers. Trim potentiometers can tune, adjust or calibrate circuits. The board has four transistors of two different types. It has several integrated circuits including uncompensated operational amplifiers with low input offset voltage and current. The board is populated with many capacitors, diodes, and resistors, including thirty large carbon composite resistors. The board also has several metal film resistors. The board uses both aluminum electrolytic and polyester vinyl capacitors. Many components are vertical.
This part ships from our warehouse in a protective, static reducing sleeve. Before installation of your new part begins we recommend reviewing any OEM publications like manuals or data sheets for instructions and safety data. All technical support for the IC3600AOAF2 was provided by GE.
