About the IC3600AOAJ1
The IC3600AOAJ1 is a GE FANUC part for the Mark I/Mark II series. These series were the first two of the successful Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management series that GE released. The Mark I was introduced in 1969 and the Mark II in 1973. Both series have been used since their release in a variety of applications across the globe, from small units rated at 4000 hp to combined cycle units rated at 400 Mw. The MKI/MKII systems were specifically designed for adaptability and reliability, with a protective system independent of control equipment and built-in redundancies on key control functions that help improve functionality.
The IC3600AOAJ1 is an Op Amp card. It carries the GE logo and is marked with its board identification number. It also had the code “KCC” in one corner. One edge of the board is populated by twenty-five metal pins, which are numbered by tens underneath.
Three trim potentiometers are located along one edge of the IC3600AOAJ1. Trim potentiometers can be used for voltage division, or they may be used to adjust, calibrate or tune circuits. The board has ten transistors and three integrated circuits. The board is built with a variety of diodes, resistors, and capacitors. The board has two large polyester vinyl capacitors placed in one corner; these capacitors are rated 200V .50 +/- 20%. The board has a number of smaller polyester vinyl capacitors as well as capacitors of other materials. Resistors tend to be carbon composite, including four large CCRs, located in two lines. Some components are placed in a vertical position.
Our warehouse will ship the IC3600AOAJ1 in a protective static-reducing sleeve. If your facility has retained OEM publications like manuals for this part, we recommend a review of these before installation begins.
