The IC3600AOAL1D1 functions as an Op Amp card within the Mark I and the Mark II series from GE. Both the Mark I and Mark II series were designed to improve the performance of steam and gas turbines by providing better management. Each of these systems is adaptable and scalable and can manage systems from a single 4000 hp unit up to a power system with combined cycles up to 400 Mw. The MKI and MKII has a decade's long history of functioning in temperatures between -50C to +50C and can be used in remote piping stations, in marine applications, in base-loaded industrial generator drives, and in utility peaking gas turbines.
The IC3600AOAL1D1 carries the GE logo and its unique board number. It is marked with the codes 006/02, 002/02 and 003/04. The code 259A3589G1 appears near the center of the card. It has a numbered edge.
The IC3600AOAL1D1 features several ceramic through-hole capacitors. Polyester vinyl capacitors are also used on the board. The board is built using carbon composite resistors of varying resistance. Capacitors, resistors, and diodes are all marked.
The IC3600AOAL1D1has nine integrated circuits. This includes 2-input NAND gates and amplifiers. The board has seven trim potentiometers located in two lines. Potentiometers can be used to calibrate, adjust or tune circuits.
