About the IC3600EPSN3
The IC3600EPSN3 is a power supply card assembly designed to be used within a GE Mark I or Mark II system. Speedtronic systems like this one are designed to be used with heavy-duty gas turbine systems. This includes units from 4000 hp to 400 Mw combined cycle systems. The MK1/MK2 offer base-load/power block, and electric utility peaking.
Power supplies within the Mark II are designed as self-contained redundant systems. These make the overall Mark II system independent of external power. Depending on the type of system, the power loop may offer part-load control.
The IC3600EPSN3 is built with a crude front faceplate. This faceplate attaches to the bottom portion of the circuit board using screw mounts and extends over the edge. It offers three turn components, one unlabeled, one labeled plus, and the other labeled minus. The circuit board is capped by a metal carrier that in turn is capped by a heat sink. This heat sink helps dissipate heat from the components mounted on the IC3600EPSN3 circuit board.
A more detailed description of this board can be found through documentation from the OEM. These documents originally came from General Electric, and include data sheets, user guides, and product manuals for the Mark I and the Mark II systems. Such documentation should have arrived as part of your product purchase from the manufacturer.
