About the IC3600EPSP1
The IC3600EPSP1 is a twelve-volt, five amp power supply board from General Electric. This is one of several power supply boards available within the AX Control warehouse.
The IC3600EPSP1 is designed for use within Speedtronic systems like the Mark I or the Mark II. Both of these systems were early Speedtronic systems from GE typically used as part of control systems for industrial gas or steam turbines ranging from 4000 HP to 400 MW. Many of these systems were designed so that the power supply system could be self-contained with redundancies that allowed the overall Speedtronic system to become independent of external power if the need arose. This improved efficiency and decreased downtime in the first two Speedtronic control systems.
The IC3600EPSP1 is a small board that has been factory drilled at each corner. This allows the board to be more easily mounted in place during installation. The board has a line of right-angled pins along one long board edge that is used to plug the board into communications with other components (a backplane connector.) The board also has a potentiometer, several transistors, several lines of resistors, and capacitors. Components are either marked on their surface or have a reference designation near their location on the surface of the board as an identifier.
More information about the IC3600EPSP1 can be sourced through original documentation from General Electric. This includes manuals, user guides, and other printed publications like datasheets. Please refer to these documents before unboxing your part for specific information about wiring and handling.
