About the IC3600KMRA2
The IC3600KMRA2 is a FANUC component/medium duty relay for the Mark I or Mark II series. The first of the Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management series from GE, the MKI and MKII have been in use around the world for over forty years. These two systems are both scalable and adaptable and were designed by GE to be as useful in the running of small turbine systems like an unattended single unit 4000 HP pumping station as they would be in the running of a 400 Mw combined cycle power plant. The MKI and MKII have been used around the globe in temps as varied as -50C to +50C.
The IC3600KMRA2 is a plug-in type relay. The Speedtronic system is designed with many DC plug-in relays which fit into the system in rows and in columns. These relays can be easily replaced if/when one fails in operation. The IC3600KMRA2 is configured with fourteen smaller numbered pins figured in a concentric circle around a larger center plug. The relay workings are housed in a gray housing. There is a relay diagram located on the side of the housing.
Relays work upon Relay Ladder Logic (RLL.) Relay logic is represented in the relay diagrams found on these components. The original intent of RLL was to give the controller a way to solve logic sequences using discrete signals.
The IC3600KMRA2 will be shipped from our warehouse in a protective sleeve. Review of OEM publications like manuals is recommended before installation of your new part begins. GE provided technical support for the IC3600KMRA2.
