About the IC3600KMVB2
The IC3600KMVB2 is a Relay Card/GE FANUC component for the Mark I and Mark II series. These control systems were designed to provide users of gas/steam turbines with the highest practical degree of performance and reliability in turbine control. While these systems have been updated throughout their design life to provide more control functional requirements and complex monitoring (such as the addition of integrated circuits and microcomputers,) both systems have become obsolete over their four decade-plus lifespan due to the introduction of other Speedtronic control systems that provide further reliability and technology improvements. However, many of these systems remain in use through today, due to their basic ease of use and adaptability.
The IC3600KMVB2 is built with three GE relays and three diodes. The relays are all marked with the codes 68A997277A02 and CR120G40806FA. Each relay includes a relay diagram. They also carry the GE logo and the information of 50 VA and 28 VDC. Each relay has several wires emerging from one end.
The IC3600KMVB2 is drilled in two corners. One edge of the board has eighteen pins. The board is lettered and numbered underneath these pins as follows: 1/Y, 5/G, 10/Y, 15/V, 20/Y, G/25/G, 30/Y, Y/35/Y, G/40/G, V/45/R, 51. The letters on the board correspond to the colors of the wires coming from the end of each relay, which attach to some of these pins.
If publications like manuals and datasheets have been retained, we suggest a review of these before installation of your new part begins.
