About the IC3600KRSA2
The IC3600KRSA2 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I and Mark II series. These systems were designed with sensors and servo actuators mounted on the turbine to provide input and output interfacing for the control system. Redundancy in key control features improved reliability in the system. This includes speed and temperature control. Fast response, high performance, and accuracy with very little deadband is achieved in these systems by electronic computation and the use of high-resolution hydraulic servos. A high degree of redundancy is also employed in the protective system to allow it to be independent of the control equipment. This allows for reliable and safe machine operation.
The IC3600KRSA2 is a relay board that includes six relays and six diodes. The diodes are mounted to the board in a vertical fashion. All relays are the same and include the GE logo, a relay diagram, several identifying codes, and the VA and VDC ratings. These are reed relays. Reed relays contain a reed switch (two shaped metal blades,) a coil for creating a magnetic field, a diode for handling EMF from the coil, and an enveloping package with connection terminals, usually made of glass. Each relay has several wires emerging from one end. These wires are of several colors. The wires connect to a line of metal pins on one long edge of the board.
The IC3600KRSA2 will be shipped from our warehouse protected by a static-reducing sleeve or covering. If manuals or datasheets from the original part are available, we recommend review of these publications for safety data before installation begins.
