About the IC3600KRSS2
The IC3600KRSS2 is a component manufactured for the Mark I and/or the Mark II series created by GE. The MKI/MKII were the first of GE’s Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management systems. Both systems have been used for several decades, with use in ambient temperatures from plus to minus fifty degrees Celsius. These Speedtronic systems have been used to manage large power stations (up to 400 Mw,) for utility peaking drives and for many heavy-duty turbine designs sized between these. While both of these series have since become obsolete due to continued the continued development and release of other, more advanced systems in the Speedtronic line and outside it, both the MKI and MKII remain viable systems in continuous use around the globe.
The IC3600KRSS2 has very few components. The board has three diodes and three relays. It also has one edge with a line of metal pins. Beyond these components, the board is empty. The relays on this board are marked with the codes 68A7163P511G1. The relays are marked K1, K2, and K3.
The board is drilled at the factory in two corners. It is marked with the circular GE logo, with the code 006/01 and the board identification number. One edge is populated with 51 right-angled pins that act as a communication device when the board is inserted into a Speedtronic frame.
The IC3600KRSS2 will be wrapped in a static-reducing covering before it leaves our warehouse. If manufacturer publications like manuals/data sheets have been retained, these should be reviewed for pertinent information.
