About the IC3600LBCA1
The IC3600LBCA1 is a Binary Control Card for the Mark I or Mark II series from GE. This is a FANUC component. The Mark I’s initial commercial release occurred in 1969, and GE followed up with the MKII in 1973. The first in GE’s Speedtronic line for gas and steam turbine management, the MKI and MKII have since been made obsolete by continued technological development and GE’s release of later Speedtronic series like the MKIV through the MKVIe. However, many of these systems are still in use even after over four decades, primarily because of GE’s initial focus on adaptability, scalability, and creating systems that would provide accurate, long life service.
Most of the components on the IC3600LBCA1 are mounted vertically. The exception to this is one polyester vinyl capacitor located at the center of the board. This is a through-hole component. The board has sixteen other polyester vinyl capacitors that are all mounted vertically. The board also carries eight ceramic capacitors. These are placed in a single line parallel to one edge. The board is populated with several lines of carbon composite resistors of varying resistance. These are interspersed by diodes. Diodes on this board are numbered but are not marked with any other designator.
The IC3600LBCA1 has eight transistors. The board is marked with its board id number, with the GE logo, and with the code 68A989046G1. It is numbered on a single edge. This edge is populated with fifty-one metal pins that function as a communication device.
Our warehouse will ship the IC3600LBCA1 in a protective sleeve. We suggest review of any retained manufacturer publications like data sheets or manuals from your original part before installation begins.
