About the IC3600LCDA1B
The Clock Logic Driver Card marked IC3600LCDA1B is component for the Mark I/Mark II series from General Electric. These were the first of the Speedtronic management systems for gas and steam turbines. The MKI/MKII were both created to be scalable and easily adaptable to the turbine system under management, whether it be a single 4000 HP unit or an entire 400 Mw power station. The turbine control panel of each system can be set up in a variety of arrangements, as part of a control room, or as a remotely placed control site located in a control cab. So, too, the Speed control of the systems can be adapted for either isochronous (regardless of load, the speed remains constant to a setpoint) or droop (speed decreases with load) settings.
The IC3600LCDA1B is marked with the GE logo and with the numbers 006/04 and 68A999101. One edge is marked with numbering that skips by fives, from one to fifty-one.
The IC3600LCDA1B is built with two lines of transistors. Each line has nine transistors. It is important to note the board is marked only with “Q1” and “Q2,” as all components in each line are marked as one component. A similar marking occurs with a line of eighteen capacitors, which alternate between “C1” and C2” from top to bottom. The board also has one polyester vinyl capacitors placed away from this line, which is marked “C3.” The board has several lines of resistors and capacitors. Not all components are marked with designating labels.
The IC3600LCDA1B communicates with the Speedtronic system through connections made through fifty-one metal pins attached to one edge. These pins function as a communications device.
Our team will carefully package and protect the IC3600LCDA1B with a static-reducing sleeve before it is shipped to you. We suggest review of any OEM publications like manuals or data sheets before the installation of your new part begins.
