About the IC3600LDCA1
The IC3600LDCA1 is a circuit counter card for the Mark I-II systems from General Electric. The Mark I was the first of the popular Speedtronic management systems created by GE. These systems were used for decades for the control of industrial gas and steam turbine systems. The MK1 was released in 1969 with the MK2 following in 1973. Both systems offered automatic control of the gas turbine and associated load system. Systems included control systems, protective components, sequencing and monitoring, along with an independent power system. Both the MK I and MK II are no longer manufactured or distributed by the OEM, but AX Control maintains on-hand stock of as many components as we can within our North Carolina facility.
The IC3600LDCA1 is built with a long backplane connector along one board edge. This backplane is made up of multiple individual right-angled pins. When the board is mounted within the rack system, the pins allow the unit to communicate effectively with other components in the system.
The IC3600LDCA1 includes multiple components including resistors, diodes, transistors, and capacitors. Many of these are mounted vertically instead of horizontally. Some may be marked with reference designators or original codes from their individual manufacturers that can give additional information. The board itself is marked with the GE logo and with the board ID number and may carry additional codes that will help with wiring or installation. Refer to original GE documentation for more information regarding these codes.
