About the IC3600LDDB1
The IC3600LDDB1 is a Display Driver card for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. In these systems control of the gas turbine is accomplished by controlling fuel flow to the combustion system. On some MKI and MKII systems, this means varying the cycle of air-flow by changes in compressor speed or the position of variable inlet guide vanes to improve partload performance in those applications that involve exhaust heat recovery. In turn, fuel flow is controlled in response to the temperature control system, the speed control system, or the startup control (whichever requires the least fuel.)
The IC3600LDDB1 is a FANUC part. Like many other MKI and MKII parts, the IC3600LDDB1 is built with a line of metal pins along one edge of the board. These pins are meant to wire into the main system. When they are connected by wires, they allow system and the board to communicate with each other. The board is numbered from one to fifty-one by fives under this line of components.
The IC3600LDDB1 is marked with its board identification number, with the GE trademark, and with the codes 006/01 and 68A280340G1. It is built with aluminum electrolytic and polyester vinyl capacitors. Resistors tend to be carbon composite material. Many components are mounted to the board vertically. The board has twenty-two transistors of two styles. It is important to note many of these components are marked with the same designator. In other words, several components may be marked as “Q1” or “C1.”
