About the IC3600LIBA1A
The IC3600LIBA1A is a component for the Mark I/Mark II series designed for the management of heavy-duty steam and gas turbines. These systems have been used around the world for decades and are both still in use today. General Electric has continued with research and development as technological advances in turbine management has improved since the MKI was released in 1969 and the MKII in 1973, and so time and more advanced systems like the MKVIe have made the MKI/MKII obsolete. Yet their original ease of use, scalability, and longevity allows them to remain viable systems.
The IC3600LIBA1A is marked with the General Electric logo. It is also marked with the code 68A989162G1 and the id number that is unique to this card. The board has two drilled-out corners. One edge is populated with twenty-six metal pins that are used for communication between the board and the Speedtronic system.
The IC3600LIBA1A carries ten capacitors. This includes one horizontal polyester vinyl capacitor and nine vertical capacitors. The board has eighteen transistors, which are placed on the board in two lines. One of these lines is marked as Q1 and the other as Q2. Carbon composite resistors cover the majority of the board and are placed in one line of nine and five lines of 18. Each of these lines carries either one or two designators (R1/R2/R3 etc.)
The IC3600LIBA1A is a GE FANUC component. If original equipment manufacturer publications like data sheets and manuals have been retained, please review safety data before installation begins.
