About the IC3600LIBB1
The IC3600LIBB1 is an Input Buffer Card for the earliest of the Speedtronic steam/gas management systems, the Mark I and the Mark II. These two systems were created by GE to manage heavy-duty turbines of many different sizes and capacities, from a single 4000 hp unit up to a power station with a combined cycle rating of 400 Mw. Adaptable and scalable, the MKI and MKII can change to meet the needs of the system, including changes in how the control panel is set up and wired, and the functions of the speed control, which can be set to droop control or isochronous control.
The IC3600LIBB1 is marked in the board center with the GE “USA” logo. It carries the board identification number, the codes 003/02, 002/03, 006/03 and 68A988162. The board is also marked “ADS” and “STAR.”
The IC3600LIBB1 has eighteen transistors located on its surface. These are placed in two lines of nine transistors. Each line is marked as a single component (one line is Q1, the other is Q2.) The board has one polyester vinyl capacitor, which is marked M/e 708D1 1Q79. This capacitor is attached to the board in a horizontal position. The board also carries nine aluminum electrolytic capacitors that are all marked as “C1.” These are attached to the board vertically. Metal film resistors appear on the board in several lines. Many of these components carry the same designator.
The IC3600LIBB1 has a single line of metal pins attached to one edge of the board. These components function as a communication device.
Our warehouse will carefully pack and protect the IC3600LIBB1 in a static-reducing sleeve before shipment to you. Review of OEM publications like manuals or data sheets is recommended before installation begins.
