About the IC3600LINB
The IC3600LINB is a Light Indicator Card for the Mark I or the Mark II series. The MKI and the MKII were the first Speedtronic systems for gas/steam turbine management released by GE. Both were developed around the most advanced technology available at the time, and while both have since been made obsolete by further development by GE and the release of newer Speedtronic systems like the Mark IV, Mark V, and Mark VIe, many of these systems remain in service around the globe, primarily due to their basic reliability and the long life of the system. The MKI and MKII can manage heavy duty turbine systems ranging in size from multi-turbine power plants with combined cycles of 400 Mw down to a single 4000 hp unit.
The IC3600LINB is marked with the codes 68A383204, 003/01, 006/01 and “ADS,” as well as with the logo from GE and the identifying board number. A single edge has been marked 1/5/15/25/35/45/51. This edge is fitted with twenty-six metal pins that function as a communication device once the board is inserted into a Speedtronic frame, allowing the board to transmit signals via connections made to the pins by wiring.
The IC3600LINB has a single paper in oil capacitor. It also has two lines of resistors made of carbon composite material, sixteen resistors per line. All resistors in one line are marked “R1” and all components marked in the second line are marked “R2.” The board has sixteen light emitting diodes (LEDs) which are placed under a gray housing.
