About the IC3600LINB1
The IC3600LINB1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I/Mark II series. These two series are designed with four basic parts: a control system with a built-in redundant fail-safe system (usually speed control backing up temperature control and vice versa,) a protection system with dual or triple fail-safes that will annunciate alarms but allow the system to continue to run, a sequential system that allows the system to automate startup and shutdown, and an independent power supply. This power supply can either be a battery system or an AC system with multiple inputs.
The IC3600LINB1 has sixteen LEDs or light emitting diodes along one edge. These are grouped in four groups of four and are protected by a gray housing. The opposite edge has twenty-six metal pins over numbering (1, 5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 51.) These pins function together as a communication device.
The IC3600LINB1 carries several pieces of printed information. This includes the logo from GE, the board identification number, and the codes 006/01, 003/01, “ADS” and 68A383204.
The IC3600LINB1 has thirty-two carbon composite resistors. These are placed in one of two lines, which are marked R1 or R2. There is one aluminum electrolytic capacitor on the board. There are no diodes on the board beyond the LEDs.
