About the IC3600LLDB1
The IC3600LLDB1 is a Line Driver Board that is a component for the Mark I or the Mark II Speedtronic system from GE. The MKI was the first Speedtronic management system for gas and steam heavy-duty turbines that GE developed and released. This came out in 1969, four years before the MKII. GE focused their development on the MKI/MKII on creating systems that were adaptable and scalable. Both systems can be used to manage turbine systems ranging from single 4000 hp units up to full power plants rated to 400 Mw combined cycles. While the MKI and MKII are now technologically obsolete due to the release of newer and more complex systems, both are still in use today. This may be due to GE’s original focus on creating systems that were adaptable, scalable, easy to use, and helped their heavy-duty turbines run more efficiently.
The IC3600LLDB1 is built primarily with vertically mounted components. This includes sixteen aluminum electrolytic capacitors mounted in one line. The board has sixteen ceramic capacitors. The board has two lines of transistors, with sixteen transistors in each line. The board has five lines of carbon composite resistors and two lines of diodes. Many of these components carry the same designator (for example, more than one resistor may be listed as R1.)
The IC3600LLDB1 is marked with the code 68A989945G1. It carries the board number and the GE circular trademark logo.
The IC3600LLDB1 will ship from the AX Control warehouse protected by a static-reducing sleeve. Please review safety data in manuals or data sheets if such publications are available before installation begins.
