About the IC3600LLXA1
The IC3600LLXA1 is a Logic Expander Card for the Mark I/Mark II series from GE. The first two Speedtronic series for gas/steam turbine management, the MKI and MKII have long been made obsolete by newer, more technologically advanced Speedtronic systems developed and released by General Electric, such as the Mark VIe (GE’s newest Speedtronic system.) However, many of these systems remain in use around the world. This may be attributed to GE’s early focus on creating management systems for their heavy-duty turbines that would be adaptable, scalable, reliable, and long-lasting. Both systems have now been used around the globe for decades, and have a long history of use in all sorts of environments, and have been used successfully in temperatures ranging from minus to plus 50 degrees Celsius.
A FANUC component, the IC3600LLXA1 carries the GE logo, the board identification number, and the code 68A898018G1. The board is drilled for mounting options in two corners. It is fitted with fifty-one pins on one edge, which function as a communication device. The board is numbered from one to fifty-one (by fives) underneath these pins.
The IC3600LLXA1 is built with nine carbon composite resistors. All nine resistors are marked “R1.” Two lines of diodes are marked CR1 through CR4. Several components carry each designator. Nine through-hole wires that carry no component intersperse these lines.
