About the IC3600LOEA1
The IC3600LOEA1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I and Mark II series. These series were designed to provide the end user of heavy-duty turbines a management program with a high degree of performance and reliability. These systems were updated throughout their technological lifetime, and while they are now obsolete and have been replaced by newer, more advanced Speedtronic systems like the MKV and MKVIe, the MKI and MKII are still in use by many users around the world. These early Speedtronic systems were built with integrated circuits and microprocessors designed to carry out control, sequencing, and protective functions. Simple built-in redundancies on important controls improve the reliability of the system.
The IC3600LOEA1 has ten polyester vinyl capacitors. Nine are mounted vertically in a single line. The remaining one is placed horizontally in the center of the board. Eighteen transistors are placed in two lines. Diodes are not marked with the CR marking on this board but are only numbered. There are several lines of diodes. Nine lines of carbon composite (CCR) resistors take up the majority of the board. It is worth noting most of these components within a line carry a single designator, so for example, the first line of resistors are all marked “R1.”
Communication between the IC3600LOEA1 and the MKI or MKII frame is achieved through connections made to a line of fifty-one pins located on one edge of the board via wires.
The IC3600LOEA1 will be protected by a static-reducing sleeve during shipment. Please refer to manuals or datasheets for installation guidelines.
