About the IC3600LPGA1
The IC3600LPGA1 is a PC Board for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. GE’s Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management systems began with the release of the Mark I system in 1969 and continued to improve when they followed with the Mark II in 1973. These two systems have now been in constant use for over four decades. Yet both systems are now obsolete due to the continued development and technological advances found within the later Speedtronic systems like the MkV and MkVIe Their continued use may be attributed to an initial design that focused on scalability, adaptability, and reliability.
The IC3600LPGA1 has a single potentiometer. It has four transistors of two different designs. The board has one inductor, several diodes, fifteen resistors, and six capacitors. Capacitors on this board are made of polyester vinyl material. Most capacitors on the board are made of a carbon composite material.
The board of the IC3600LPGA1 has two corners drilled for mounting. It carries the GE logo and the ID number for the board. Several numerical codes appear on the rear of the board. The board edge is marked with multiple numbers. These numbers correspond to twenty-six pins that are attached to the board.
A protective, static-reducing sleeve will be used during shipment of the IC3600LPGA1 to your facility. Your technicians should review any OEM manuals or data sheets available to them before installation of your new part, to review pertinent information and safety data.
