About the IC3600LRDH1
The IC3600LRDH1 is a GE FANUC board designed as a component for the Mark I/Mark II series of gas/steam turbine management. The first of GE’s Speedtronic electronic control systems, the MKI and MKII were designed for adaptability and scalability. They can be used for small systems like single unit 4000 HP systems as easily as they can manage full power systems with a combined cycle rating of 400 Mw. Both systems are designed with built-in redundancies on key control functions like speed and temperature control, which improves the reliability of the system. They include a protective system that is nearly independent of the control equipment, and that also uses a high degree of redundancy to ensure safe and reliable machine operation.
The IC3600LRDH1 is marked with many pieces of information. It carries the GE logo, its unique ID board number, the codes 006/06, 002/03, and 003/04, as well as the number 68A999536. One edge is numbered. One edge is also marked “STAR.”
The IC3600LRDH1 functions as a Relay Driver board. It is built with eighteen individual transistors of varying design. The board has several lines of metal film resistors. It uses fixed vacuum capacitors. Diodes appear on the board, but not all diodes have been marked with a prefix.
One edge of the IC3600LRDH1 is populated with fifty-one metal pins. These pins are used to wire the board into the Speedtronic system so it has communication capabilities. Technical support for the IC3600LRDH1 was provided by General Electric; this includes publications like manuals and data sheets.
