About the IC3600LRDJ1
The IC3600LRDJ1 is a Relay Driver Board for the Mark I or Mark II series from GE. This is a FANUC part. The MKI and MKII were the first of the Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management series to be developed and commercially released by GE. Both of these series were designed to be easily adapted and scaled to any size or type of gas/steam heavy duty turbine systems, and can as easily manage a single unit 4000 hp turbine being used in an offshore marine application as it can control an entire power station with multiple units and a combined cycle rating of 400 Mw. In either case, the MKI/MKII will control the turbine, manage maximum output and keep it within the range of the unit’s capability, sequence startup and shutdown, protect the system with a dual-route fail-safe built with simple redundancies, monitor and annunciate malfunctions, and power the turbine and its auxiliaries.
The IC3600LRDJ1 is built with many components on a small board. It is worth noting the labeling on these components. The board has thirty-two transistors placed in three lines; however, one line of sixteen is notated completely as “Q1,” and the remaining two lines of eight transistors are both notated as “Q2.” The board has six lines of metal film resistors, but each line is notated as R1, R2, R3, R5, R7, and R9 in its entirety. The board does not have an R4, R6 or R8. Similarly, the board has a line of sixteen polyester film capacitors that are marked as C1. C3, C4, and C5 are all individual capacitors. C2 does not appear on the board.
The IC3600LRDJ1 has a line of fifty-one pins along one edge. This edge is numbered. The board is also marked with the codes 006/02, 003/01, with the number 68A944328G1, with its board id number, and with the GE logo.
