About the IC3600LRLB1A
The IC3600LRLB1A is a GE FANUC board for the Mark I/Mark II series. These were the first two Speedtronic steam/gas turbine management systems to be designed and commercially released by GE. Both systems were designed to be both scalable and adaptable. Both have been used for decades around the globe for systems as small as a single turbine, such as a remote pipeline pumping station, and as large as a full power station. The MKI and MKII can manage systems as large as 400 Mw combined cycles. While not as complex as later Speedtronic systems (MKIV through MKVI+,) the MKI and MKII offer reliable and accurate service with built-in redundant systems for safe machine operation.
The IC3600LRLB1A is a Logic Binary card. This board carries the GE logo. It is identified by its board ID number, which is printed along one edge of the board. The board had two drilled-out corners, to allow for mounting. The board also has fifty-one metal pins attached to its surface; when these are wired together, they allow the IC3600LRLB1A to communicate with the rest of the system.
The IC3600LRLB1A has only one horizontally placed through-hole component on the board. This is a polyester vinyl capacitor located along the centerline of the board. Vertically placed diodes surround this component on three sides. The diodes are numbered.
The IC3600LRLB1A is built with sixteen transistors. The transistors are placed in two lines, one that is designated as Q1 and the other as Q2. Multiple resistors are also designated as a single component. This board tends to use carbon composite resistors.
