About the IC3600LSFD1B
General Electric (GE) created the IC3600LSFD1B PCB (printed circuit board) to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark I-II series of turbine controls. The Mark turbines series are responsible for the automation and control of both gas and steam turbines. The Mark I was the very first system made for the Mark turbine control series. The Mark I system originally debuted in the late 1960s, or 1968. The Mark I was designed to control all of the essential functions of turbines. The Mark systems control liquid and gas fuels and system temperatures, as well as the processes of startup, shutdown, and cooldown.
The IC3600LSFD1B is a rectangular PCB which features a variety of circuit board components. A line of capacitors and a line of resistors are arranged parallel to each other in the center of the IC3600LSFD1B. There are ten (10) large brown resistors on the right side. The brown resistors are banded in gold, red, blue, and green. The line on the left side contains a series of ten (10) silver capacitors. These capacitors are larger than the banded resistors. The capacitors are solid colored. Each capacitor is labeled as 50V or 50 volts. Every capacitor is labeled with the initials C1 in yellow writing. The full part number of the board, IC3600LSFD1B, is printed in yellow at the center of the upper edge of the board. General Electric’s symbol is located in the center of the left side of the IC3600LSFD1B. The remainder of the left half of the IC3600LSFD1B has been left blank.
